Terms of Service
Last updated October 7, 2026
These terms apply when you use preparepdf.com (the “Service”), operated by PreparePDF (“PreparePDF”, “we”, “us”), Miami, Florida, USA. By using the Service you accept them.
1. What the Service does
PreparePDF merges, shrinks and formats PDF files and photos so they meet upload requirements. All processing happens in your web browser. Your documents are not uploaded to our servers.
2. Plans
- Free: every feature, limited to one finished document every 7 days. A document is one click on “Check & download”, whatever number of files it produces.
- Pro: unlimited documents, for $6 per month or $49 per year, billed in advance in US dollars.
We may change prices for future billing periods. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before a change affects you.
3. Payment, renewal and cancellation
Payments are processed by Stripe. Pro renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Account › Manage billing; you keep Pro until the end of the period already paid. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
4. Your account
You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to that email private. One Pro subscription is for one person; don't share or resell access.
5. Your documents and your responsibility
You keep all rights to your documents. You are responsible for having the right to process them and for checking that the final files meet the requirements of the portal, court, embassy or authority you submit them to. Requirements change and differ by office; PreparePDF's checks help but do not guarantee acceptance.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to break the law, to process documents you're not allowed to handle, to attack or overload the Service, or to get around the free plan's limits.
7. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Keep your original files: we don't store copies and can't recover them.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including a rejected or late filing, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. You can stop using the Service at any time.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Consumers keep any rights their local law gives them.
